WELCOME!

             Hi, my name is Cristal Rivera and I am so excited to be having your child in my class this year. This is my second year here at Ser-Niños as a 3rd & 4th  grade teacher and I look forward to working with new and old students.
             For those that are new 3rd graders this year– this will be a very busy and hectic time full of fun times. Students in the 3rd grade will be expected to learn all their multiplications facts so they can start to divide. They will be introduced to fractions, estimating and rounding as well as measurement and probability. Students are also expected be able to determine which of the four of our operations we should use within a given problem (+, x, _, ÷) .
             For those 4th graders returning to me, we will be focusing on just expanding and working with harder and bigger numbers and concepts.
