Take a peek into my classroom...

                 The minute my students arrive at school each day, I begin with positive communication about what they will learn and what my expectations will be of them.  I believe that if you treat children like they are capable of doing anything, they will do it!  I strive to not only  provide an environment that is conducive to the learning that I expect from my students but I try to make my classroom a place that they always want to come back to, that excites them and nurtures them. Once they are ready, I give them their classroom so they can take charge of their own learning. Centers, experiments, projects and dramatizations are among the many things we do each week in our class.
