HOMEWORK

S.F.A. (Reading)
Every day, all students are required to read for 20 minutes out loud to a family member (a grown up  preferably). This person has to sign the Read &Respond form, for the teacher to be able to monitor the students’ daily homework. Then the students need to write about what they read in their Reading Respond sheet. (Mon.-Sun.)
MATH
All students are required to solve carefully and thoroughly, the worksheet, which includes Spanish as well as English Math homework. . (Mon.-Thurs.)
LANGUAGE ARTS
All students are required to solve carefully and thoroughly, the worksheet, which includes Spanish as well as English Language homework. . (Mon.-Thurs.)
SPELLING
On Mondays, all students are required to copy the ten vocabulary words from their notebook unto their Spelling Worksheet, ordering the words in alphabetical order.
On Tuesdays, they need to build a sentence with the first 5 words in their Spelling Homework sheet.
On Wednesdays, they need to build a sentence with the other 5 words in their Spelling Homework sheet.
On Thursdays, they need to write the words three times or have someone help the student in dictating the words and correcting.
Every Friday the students will have a math, science and spelling test.
No homework on Fridays.

TAREA
                                                                S.F.A. (LECTURA)
Todos los días, todos  los estudiantes deben leer durante 20 minutos en voz alta a un miembro de familia (preferiblemente a un adulto). Esta persona tiene que firmar la forma ‘Read and  Respond’, para que el profesor pueda verificar que se efectúa la lectura  diaria. Posteriormente los estudiantes deben escribir sobre lo que leyeron en  la misma forma.
MATEMÁTICAS
Todos los estudiantes deben solucionar cuidadosamente y completamente, la hoja de trabajo, que incluye tarea en español así como la tarea de matemáticas en ingles.
LENGUAJE

                                                                VOCABULARIO (SPELLING)
El lunes los estudiantes deben  copiar las diez palabras del vocabulario de su cuaderno a su hoja de trabajo, escribiendo las palabras en orden alfabético.
El martes, necesitan construir una oración con las primeras 5 palabras en su hoja de trabajo.
 El miércoles, necesitan construir una oración con las otras 5 palabras en su hoja de trabajo.
El jueves, necesitan escribir las palabras tres veces o pedir  ayuda  para que se le haga un dictado de las palabras y la corrección de las mismas. Deberá escribir cuatro veces las palabras que aun no ha aprendido.
Cada viernes los estudiantes tendrán examen de matemáticas, ciencias y vocabulario.
